go to where your file is saved. right click –> properties –> and then it should say the file that it’s viewed on, you can browse and change it

    Hopes this helps

It depends to some extent on the os you are using.
on windows vista you just click on initiation
than on the menu that pops up to the right you will see a tab that says default programs,
click that than when the dialogue box pops up click on
    set your default programs.
there you can change them as you wish.

on xp , click initiation, click programs , than find one that says program’s access and defaults .
(or something very close) that will open the menu you need. on xp it may be located under logic tools.
    excellent luck…

Go into iTunes and go to Edit > Preferences.

Then the advances tab and tick the box where it says “Warn me if iTunes is not the default player for audio files.”

Then restart iTunes (close then reopen it) and a box will come up warning you and then you can change the settings that way for it. I found it the simplest way :)
And when you install new programs that also play media and they automatically changed to default when you didn’t want it, iTunes will once again remind you :D
