multimedia audio controller?

i need sound card for my samsung m5950 pc. No sound heard with i reformat and installed windows xp. a yellow ? appears on multimedia audio controller at the device administrator. Heres the details for my pc:
SAMSUNG MAGIC STATION M5950
Intel Pentium 4 1.6~1.8GHz
Willamette 256 KB L2 / 400 Mhz FSB / Socket 478
256MB RAM
40GB HDD
32MB AGP

    You just need to install the sound driver (and the other basic drivers for chipset, VGA and LAN). Win XP can not function fully without the appropriate drivers.

    The drivers are usually in the drivers CD that came w/ new PC. If drivers CD is gone, download the drivers from the support website of Samsung.
