HD Media Players and HDD Media Players – What is the difference?
So what is the difference between HD Media Players and HDD Media Players?
The term HD normally means "High Definition" and refers to the video resolution. To qualify as HD this would normally indicate video resolution at 720p, 1080i or 1080p.
The term HDD but normally means "Hard Disc Guide" and refers to storage space mediums. Some Media Players nowadays have built-in hard discs for storing videos, music etc. If the player is also HD, then it is really an HD HDD player.
