What are HD Media Players?

HD Media Players are a new generation of electronic device which have the ability to replay video files in High Definition. i.e. 1080p

As well as playing video files, they also typically play music and photo images too.

Some models of HD Media Player have built-in hard disks enabling files to be stored on the media player itself. Other types of media players have USB connectors, allowing you to connect USB flash-disks or larger portable USB drives.

The Media Player has video and audio outputs permitting connection directly to a TV or home theater. Preferably by HDMI cable (to preserve signal quality) or if not by RCA connectors.

Thank you for explaining. At last! I have been so confused about different info I’ve been told.
